Brokers in Nairobi's staffing market routinely charge workers — registration fees, "processing" fees, a cut of the first salary. ABITECH Kazi does not, and never will. Our entire income comes from the employers who hire through us. This page states what you can expect from us, so you can hold us to it.

1. You never pay us anything
Free to join, free to be matched, free to be placed
We do not charge workers a registration fee, a verification fee, a "processing" fee, a commission, or a share of your salary. Not now, not later, not once you have a job. If our service ever stops being free for workers, we will say so on this page before it changes — never after.
Hatukutozi ada ya kujisajili, ada ya uthibitisho, ada ya "kushughulikia", kamisheni, wala sehemu ya mshahara wako. Si sasa, si baadaye, si baada ya kupata kazi.
2. We never keep your original ID
One look, then the photo is deleted
We ask for a photo of your national ID so a person on our team can confirm you are who you say you are. That is the only reason. We never ask you to hand over the physical card, and we never hold it as security. We never ask you for your ID number either. Once the check is done the image is deleted from our messaging provider and we keep only a record that the check happened. If the check has not happened within 30 days, the image is deleted anyway.
Tunaomba picha ya kitambulisho chako ili mtu katika timu yetu akuthibitishe. Hatuombi kamwe ukabidhi kitambulisho halisi, na hatukishiki kama dhamana. Baada ya uthibitisho, picha inafutwa.
3. Your salary is agreed before you start
In writing, on WhatsApp, before your first day
We tell you the role, the employer, the location and the monthly salary before you accept. That figure is what the employer has agreed with us in writing. If an employer tries to change it after you arrive, tell us — we will take it up with them, and we will stop working with employers who do this.
Tunakuambia kazi, mwajiri, eneo na mshahara wa mwezi kabla hujakubali. Mwajiri akijaribu kubadilisha baada ya kufika, tuambie — tutashughulikia, na tutaacha kufanya kazi na waajiri wanaofanya hivyo.
4. We do not send you abroad
Kenya only
ABITECH Kazi introduces workers to employers inside Kenya. We do not recruit for jobs in the Gulf, in Europe, or anywhere outside Kenya, and we will never ask you to pay for travel, a visa, or "contract processing". Anyone offering you overseas work in our name is not us — please report them.
Tunaunganisha wafanyakazi na waajiri ndani ya Kenya pekee. Hatuajiri kwa kazi za nje ya nchi, na hatutakuomba kamwe ulipie safari, viza, au "kushughulikia mkataba". Mtu yeyote anayekupa kazi ya nje kwa jina letu si sisi — tafadhali ripoti.
5. You can leave whenever you want
Send STOP and you are out
Send STOP to us on WhatsApp and we deactivate your profile, delete your ID photo and stop messaging you. You do not need to give a reason and there is no penalty. You can also ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct it — see our Privacy Policy.
Tuma STOP kwenye WhatsApp nasi tutasitisha wasifu wako, tutafuta picha ya kitambulisho chako na tutaacha kukutumia ujumbe. Huhitaji kutoa sababu, na hakuna adhabu.
How to report someone
Did anyone ask you for money in our name? Report it. Reporting is free, it is confidential, and it will never cost you your place in our pool. We would rather lose a middleman than a worker.

What we ask of you
- Give us accurate information and a genuine national ID.
- Turn up for a job you have accepted, or tell us in good time if you cannot.
- Tell us if an employer treats you unfairly or does not pay the agreed salary — we act on it.
Tupe taarifa sahihi na kitambulisho halisi. Fika kwenye kazi uliyokubali, au tuarifu mapema kama huwezi. Tuambie kama mwajiri hakutendei haki au hakulipi mshahara uliokubaliwa.
Who we are
ABITECH Kazi is operated by ALF Holdings East Africa Limited (Company Reg. No. CPR/2012/90232), Ikigai Offices, Merchant Square, Riverside Drive, Nairobi, Kenya.
We introduce workers to employers within Kenya only and do not recruit for employment outside Kenya. We are not yet registered with the National Employment Authority; registration is required once we charge a placement fee and is in progress. We are not licensed by the Private Security Regulatory Authority — we introduce guards to employers, we do not supply guarding services.
