How fast can I get staff?
You hear from us within 24 to 72 hours of your request. It is up to three days rather than one because we screen every candidate before their name reaches you. When we already have verified people in that role it is a shortlist on your WhatsApp; when we need to source for you it is a person from our team with a realistic date. Either way you are not left waiting without an answer.
What does a placement cost?
50% of the worker’s agreed first month gross salary, with a minimum per role: KES 12,000 for a security guard, KES 8,000 for hospitality staff, KES 6,000 for a cleaner or house help. You are told the exact amount before you pay anything.
When do I pay?
In advance. You confirm the candidate and the agreed salary, we send an M-Pesa prompt to your phone, and the worker starts once you have entered your PIN.
What if the worker doesn’t work out?
We replace them at no additional placement fee within 60 days of the start date, provided the agreed salary was paid on time, the role has not changed, and you tell us within 7 days of the problem.
How do you verify workers?
Before a worker can be matched to you, the photo of their national ID is checked against the international standard for identity documents: our system recomputes the security digits printed on the card, and a person on our team looks at anything the machine cannot decide. Digits that add up show the numbers on the card hold together — they are not proof that the card is genuine, and no check on a photograph can tell whether the face on the card is the person holding the phone. Certificate of Good Conduct, Guard Force Number for security roles, and reference checks are recorded per worker where we hold them, and we tell you which of these we have for the person we send you.
How do I pay?
M-Pesa. We send the PIN prompt straight to your phone the moment you confirm a placement — there is no link to open and no card needed. Just enter your M-Pesa PIN.
What if I’m a household (not a business)?
No problem — we serve both businesses and households. Just say so when you text us.

- We receive a lot of applications. Every week more people join the pool than there are jobs open at that moment. We would rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. Tunapokea maombi mengi. Kila wiki watu wengi hujiunga kuliko kazi zilizopo kwa wakati huo. Tunapendelea kusema ukweli.
- We look for the right match, not the quickest one. Your name goes forward when the role, the area and the salary genuinely fit you. - So it can take a while — please be patient. Weeks rather than days is normal. Your profile stays in the pool the whole time; you never have to register again or start over. Our promise to every worker
Ahadi yetu kwa kila mfanyakazi- You never pay us anything. Not to join, not to be matched, not to be placed. Our entire income comes from employers. Hulipi chochote kwetu. Si kujiunga, si kuunganishwa, si kupata kazi. Mapato yetu yote yanatoka kwa waajiri.
- We never keep your original ID. The photo is checked by machine, a person looks at whatever the machine cannot decide, then the image is deleted. Hatuchukui kitambulisho chako halisi. Picha inakaguliwa na mashine, mtu anaangalia kile mashine isichoweza kuamua, kisha picha inafutwa.
- Your salary is agreed before you start. In writing, on WhatsApp, before your first day — never renegotiated after you arrive. Mshahara wako unakubaliwa kabla hujaanza. Kwa maandishi, kwenye WhatsApp, kabla ya siku yako ya kwanza.
- We do not send you abroad. We introduce workers to employers inside Kenya only. Anyone offering you overseas work in our name is not us. Hatukupeleki nje ya Kenya. Tunaunganisha wafanyakazi na waajiri ndani ya Kenya pekee.

Is it really free?
Yes — 100% free for workers. Ni bure kabisa. We only charge employers a placement fee.
What if someone asks me for money?
Report it. ABITECH Kazi never charges workers — not to join, not to be matched, not to be placed. If anyone asks you for money in our name, send REPORT to +254 143 829 078 or email kazi@abitech.io. Ripoti mara moja.
What do I need to register?
A WhatsApp number and a photo of your Kenyan ID. For security work, a Guard Force Number and Certificate of Good Conduct help. If you reached us through one of our adverts we may also ask for a phone number a person can call you on — that one is optional, it is only so we can reach you when work comes up, and you never pay us anything.
What happens to my ID photo?
Your photo is checked by machine — the security digits printed on the card are recomputed against the international standard — and a person on our team looks at anything the machine cannot decide. The image is then deleted and we keep only a record that the check was done, and at most 30 days if the check has not happened yet. Text STOP at any time and we delete your profile and the photo.
How will I get jobs?
Once verified, we send matching jobs straight to your WhatsApp. You choose which to accept.
How long will it take to find me a job?
Honestly: it can take weeks rather than days. ABITECH Kazi is a social project — our aim is to get people into fair, decently paid work — and we receive many more applications than there are jobs open at any one moment. We only put your name forward when the role, the area and the salary genuinely fit you, because a placement that falls apart in a month helps nobody. Please be patient: your profile stays in the pool the whole time, you never have to register again, and you always hear from us — when there is a match a person calls you, or messages you here on WhatsApp if we have no phone number for you.
